This is an example of restoration. Originally a mahogany finish, years of hard use rendered the finish in poor condition. Now it is just like new! Not for sale – already owned !

Thousands upon thousands of these instruments are still in use in colleges, schools and churches. A true work horse, this is a piano that will stand up to hard use by an advancing student.
$3,900
The case of this piano is badly faded from sitting near a window for many years, but it has the original ivory key tops that are in superb condition.

This piano had suffered from a botched repair job in the past. The soundboard has now been properly repaired with the ribs securely glued back to the soundboard panel, unfortunate screw holes in the board plugged with spruce plugs, and finished. The plate has been rebronzed and lettered. It has a new pin block, strings, and tuning pins.

Ivers & Pond Art Case 5’7” Mahogany, 1897, extensive carving on massive legs, music desk, case. New action, pin block, strings.
Stuart Davidson did a restoration on my 1968 Baldwin L 6’3” Artist Grand. His restoration of the exterior case was amazing and when it was delivered to me it looked like it had come from the showroom. Stuart’s attention to detail and the tolan aspects of the piano were first class. The piano is now used for multiple concerts each month in a 750 seat auditorium and is given high marks by the performers. Stuart is my “go-to” technician when I have any questions. Getting ready for a second Baldwin L restoration with Stuart in the near future.
